## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS EN ROUTE FROM KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, TO OMAHA, NEBRASKA, WHEN PILOT SHUT DOWN THE LEFT ENGINE DUE TO ROUGHNESS. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT OMAHA, NEBRASKA. INVESTIGATION OF THE FACTS COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE ROUGH RUNNING ENGINE.

## Other reports on N402WC (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19921027050659I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19921027050659I), Oct 27, 1992: Cessna 402CESSNA (N402WC), Mission, SD, Minor damage. Lost directional control of aircraft when left main gear axle wheel assembly rotated. Nose gear collpased.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
