## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER STARGING AIRCRAFT TO TAXI AT ACTIVE RUNWAY, THE AIRCRAFT MADE A LEFT TURN INTO THE HANGAR DOOR BEFORE THE PIC(PILOT-IN-COMMAND) COULD SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE AND APPLY THE BRAKES. ON MAY 19, 1999, THE NOSE STEERING WAS CHECKED AND IT WAS FOUND OUT OF RIG. ON MAY 27, 1999, THE NOSE STEERING ROD WAS FOUND BENT. AND M&D REPORT WAS SENT IN. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
