## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT OF N2387S A PIPER PA-18 WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 13 AT LAKE HOOD STRIP, ANCHORAGE ALASKA. TH PILOTS HEEL SLIPPED OFF THE LEFT BRAKE WHILE LANDING INA RIGHT CROSS WIND. AT A VERY SLOW SPEED (APPROX 1-3 MPH) THE AIRCRAFT LEFT THE RUNWAY AND THE RIGHT TIRE CONTACTED WATER AND MUD ON THE SHOULDER OF THE RUNWAY PROHIBITING THE AIRPLANE FROM TAXIING BACK ONTO THE RUNWAY. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
