## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT ABOUT 1725 CDT THE PILOT ON COMMAND WAS MAKING A RUNUP ON THE TAXIWAY LEADING TO RUNWAY 24, PRIOR TO A LOCAL PLEASURE FLIGHT. AFTER CHECKING THE MAGNETOS THE PILOT NOTICED A SENSATION OF THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT SINKING, HE THEN PRESSED HARDER ON THE BRAKES AND LOOKED DOWN TO VERIFY THAT HE DID HAVE THE CONTROL STICK BACK, WHEN HE LOOKED UP HE NOTICED THE PROPELLER WAS HITTING THE PAVEMENT. HE THEN PULLED THE THROTTLE BACK AND CUT THE MIXTURE. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A REST ON ITS PROPELLER SPINNER AND MAIN LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE THOUGHT THAT A FALCON 50 DEPARTING THE SAME RUNWAY MAY HAVE BEEN A FACTOR. THE WINDS AT THE TIME WERE ABOUT 230 TO 250 DEGREES AT 5 TO 8 KNOTS. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
