## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THAT ON APPROACH TO THE MOGOLLON AIR PARK, HE CHECKED THE SHOW LOW AWAS AND THE WIND WAS 180 DEGREES 23 W/GUSTS; HE ELECTED TO USE EXTRA POWER AND SPEED FOR THE APPROACH, WITH GUSTY CONDITIONS. QUOTE "MY APPROACH WAS PERFECT - MY SPEED WAS PERFECT - MY TOUCHDOWN WAS PERFECT - BUT MY GEAR WAS UP. I JUST FORGOT TO LOWER BY GEAR".

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
