## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 1999, AT 1240 LOCAL TIME, A TRANS INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS, SHORTS 3-60, N159CC, BLEW THE LEFT MAIN TIRE UPON LANDING AT BINGHAMTON'S EDWARD A. LINK FIELD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED OFF THE ACTIVE RUNWAY AT 1305LOCAL. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE LEFT MAIN TIRE AND DEFERRED THE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM PER MEL 32-1. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN RETURNED TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
