## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MR. KUHLMAN AND FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR ADAMS WERE LANDING ON RUNWAY 18 AT MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA. MR. KUHLMAN SAID THEY WERE PERFORMING A WHEEL LANDING, AND THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE CENTER LINE OF THE RUNWAY. MR. KUHLMAN THINKS HE WAS OVERCONTROLLING, BECAUSE THE AIRCRAFT WENT LEFT AND RIGHT ACROSS THE RUNWAY AT LEAST TWICE, BEFORE GOING OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT GROUND LOOPED, COLLAPSING THE LANDING GEAR THEN DAMAGING THE PROPELLER AND RIGHT WING TIP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
