## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT LANDED ON GRASS STRIP AND THEN VEERED OFF LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY. LEFT MAIN AND NOSE GEAR TRAVERSED A 12 INCH WIDE, 12 INCH DEEP DITCH, AND RIGHT MAIN GEAR SETTLED INTO DITCH. NOSE GEAR SHEARED OFF AND THEN AIRCRAFT SLID 50 FEET AND CAME TO A HALT. RIGHT MAIN GEAR APPEARS TO BE BENT INBOARD, PROPELLER BENT AND TIPS CURLED. ENGINE MOUNT CRACKED AT ENGINE ATTATCH POINT ON UPPER LEFT SIDE. AIRCRAFT WAS OVERDUE AN ANNUAL INSPECTION AND WAS ON A FERRY PERMIT FROM 9LA6, PINEVILLE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
