(-5)THE PILOT WAS ATTEMPTING A SHORT FIELD LANDING ON HIS PRIVATE AIRSTRIP. THE LANDING WAS HARD AND THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED.  DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS LIMITED TO THE LANDING GEAR AND PROPELLER.  THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.
