## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SATURDAY, JULY 10, 1999 AT 1037 LOCAL, A BEECH 1900D, N124YV, OPERATED BY MESA AIRLINES (D/B/A US AIRWAYS EXPRESS) DIVERTED TO ITHACA TOMPKINS COUNTY AIRPORT AFTER SHUTTING DOWN THE #2 ENGINE. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (IAD) ENROUTE TO SYRACUSE, NY WHEN THE CREW EXPERIENCED A LOW ENGINE OIL PRESSURE LIGHT AND A FUEL LOW PRESSURE LIGHT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE AFFECTED ENGINE AND RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
