## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MR. CARDELLA STATED THAT AS HE TAXIED ON THE RAMP (WITH THE INTENTIONS OF LEAVING THE ARPT. AFTER REFUELING), HE HEARD THE NOICE OF ANOTHER AIRCRAFT OPERATING BEHIND HIS RIGHT SIDE. HE CONTINUED TAXIING WHILE LOOKING TO THAT AIRCRAFT OVER HIS SHOULDER. WHEN HE PROCEED TO START DOING "S" TURNS (FOR GROUND CLEARANCE CHECKS, THE KITFOX IS A TAIL WHEEL AIRCRAFT) TO THE LEFT, HE HIT THEN THE AIRCRAFT PARKED ON THE RAMP DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF HIM. THE AIRCRAFT PARKED ON THE RAMP APPROX. 100 FT NW OF THE FUEL FACILITY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
