## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING A PRACTICE SOFT FIELD TAKEOFF, WITH THE NOSE WHEEL ELEVATED, BEFORE BECOMING FULLY AIRBORNE. THE A/C EXITED THE RUNWAY TO THE LEFT WHILE REMAINING ON THE GROUND, AND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR BECAME MIRED IN A DRAINAGE DITCH. THE WIND DIRECTION AND VELOCITY, BASED ON AVAILABLE REPORTS, WAS INCONSEQUENTIAL.
