## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE #1 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM LOW QUANTITY LIGHT CAME ON IN CRUISE AT FL29. A NON-EVENTFUL LANDING WAS MADE AT THE DESTINATION AIRPORT, MIDDLETOWN (MDT). MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL AT MDT DETERMINED THE LOW HYDRAULIC QUANTITY WAS CAUSED BY A LEAKING O-RING IN THE #1 PRESSURE MANIFOLD. THE AIR CARRIER'S MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REPLACED A PINCHED O-RING IN THE PRESSURE MANIFOLD, RE-SERVICED THE #1 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, AND APPROVED THE AIRCRAFT FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. A MECHANICAL RELIABILITY REPORT WAS SUBMITTED BY THE CARRIER ON JULY 22, 1999.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
