## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5)ON JULY 23, 1999, AT APPROXIMATELY 1850 HRS, AN ARCITC TRANSPORT SERVICE CASA 212-CC DEPARTED BETHEL, AK.. ON CLIMB OUT, THE CO-PILOT NOTED THAT THE SRL LIGHT FLICKERED ON AND OFF. AFTER RESETTING THE SRL COMPUTER CIRCUIT BREAKER, THE LIGHT WENT OUT. HE THEN NOTICED SMOKE IN THE CABIN AND ABOUT THE SAME TIME NOTED THE RIGHT GENERATOR WAS OFF LINE. HE RESET THE GENERATOR AND SOON THEREAFTER, THE SMOKE BEGAN TO SUBSIDE IN THE CABIN. THE PILOT GOT A CLERANCE TO LAND AND THE FLIGHT TERMINATED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT BACK TO BETHEL AIRPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
