## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) JUST AFTER TAKEOFF, AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A WIDE POWER FLUCTUATION AND THEN LOSS OF POWER. OPERATOR BANKED THE PLANE RIGHT, RELEASED THE LOAD OF CHEMICALS, AND MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN AN ALFALFA FIELD. AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE PILOT OR THE AIRCRAFT. UPON INSPECTION, IT WAS NOTED THAT THE LEFT MAGNETO HAD BECOME DISLODGED DUE TO VIBRATION AND THE CENTERING PIN BECOMING ELONGATED. THE MECHANIC INITIATED AN M OR D REPORT FOR THE FINDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
