## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ENROUTE CVG TO LIT AT 35,000 FEET THE LEFT AC PACK OVERHEATED AND TRIPPED OFF LINE. FLIGHT CREW NOTICED CABIN ALTITUDE CLIMBING AND STARTED A DESCENT. THEN THE RIGHT PACK TRIPPED OFF LINE AND AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND A STEEP DESCENT WAS INITIATED. CREW DONNED OXYGEN MASKS AND PAX MASKS DEPLOYED AUTOMATICALLY. ALL MASKS FUNCTIONED PROPERLY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND NO PASSENGERS REPORTED ANY PROBLEMS. NOTE: KENNETH STARR WAS ONE OF THE PASSENGERS. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND APPROVED THE AIRCRAFT FOR FERRY FLIGHT TO ATL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
