## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROX. 1600 MDT ON 08/01/99 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM FAA INSPECTOR JD HUSS OF THE ABQ FSDO WHO ADVISED ME OF AN INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED AT OEO AIRPORT AT APPROX. 1500 MDT WHEN N916G, A GLIDER OWNED BY ALBUQUERQUE SOARING CLUB AND PILOTED BY MS. KAREN TAYLOR HAD LANDED ON RWY 8 AND AS THE CREW WAS EXITING THE AIRCRAFT TO MOVE IT FROM THE RUNWAY, N80RW, A SKYBOLT PILOTED BY MR. ROBERT CARLTON LANDED ON RWY 26 AND WAS TAXIING AND DUE TO THE SLOPE OF THE RWY AND THE LOWER WING OF THE SKYBOLT OBSCURING VISION, THE SKYBOLTS LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR IMPACTED THE LEFT WINGTIP OF THE GROB GLIDER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO ANY OF THE PARTIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
