## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE INCIDENT HAPPENED APPROX. 20 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ALBANY, NY. AFTER EXPERIENCING A BANG SOUND AND YAW, THE CREW DECIDED TO LAND AT ALB. DURING THE INVESTIGATION, THE COWL ATTACH BRACKETS WERE BROKEN, EXCEPT FOR THE UPPER FORWARD ATTACHMENTS, PRIVACY DATA OMITTED ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CAUSING THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE COWL TO DROP, AND THE AIRFLOW PULLED IT FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THE LOWER OUTBOARD COWL LANDED IN A RESIDENTS YARD WHILE THE LOWER INBOARD COWL REMAINS MISSING. THE TOP COWL, INBOARD WING FLAP, OUTBOARD WING FLAP, AND THE ENGINE PYLON WERE ALSO DAMAGED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
