## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) INBOUND TO OKV; VFR APPROACH TO RUNWAY 14; LISTENING TO CTAF; ANNOUNCED DOWNWIND LEG; OTHER PERSON CALLED DOWNWIND; TRIMMED FOR LANDING; TURNED BASE; OTHERS ANNOUNCED LEFT AND RIGHT BASE; DID NOT DO GUMP CHECK. LANDING UNEVENTFUL UNTIL CONTACT WITH GROUND. GEAR HANDLE FOUND IN DOWN POSITION BY FBO PERSONNEL (AERO SERVICE, INC.) BUT WOULD NOT LOCK INTO POSITION WHEN TESTED USING LANDING GEAR MOTOR. GEAR DID LOCK USING MANUAL EMERGENCY EXTENSION HANDLE. FAA INSPECTORS FOUND GEAR CB POPPED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
