## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RWY 30 WHEN A STRONG CROSSWIND BLEW HIM ONTO THE EAST SIDE INFIELD PRIOR TO ECHO INTERSECTION. HE WAS ABLE TO SWERVE BACK ONTO THE RWY AFTER DELTA INTERSECTION, REGAIN CONTROL AND TAXIED OFF AT CHARLIE INTERSECTION. MR. ROSBERG SAID HE HAD TO INITITATE A GO-AROUND HIS FIRST ATTEMPT BECAUSE THE WINDS WERE TOO STRONG (15-20 KNOTS). AIRCRAFT INCURRED MINOR DAMAGE TO LEFT PONTOON, HOWEVER HE DESTROYED 1 TAXIWAY LIGHT, 1 RUNWAY LIGHT, AND 2 GUIDANCE SIGNS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
