## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI99LA312](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI99LA312), Aug 26, 1999: Cessna 172M (N61612), Bloomington, IL, substantial damage. Probable cause: the pilot's inadequate visual lookout and not performing a maneuver to avoid obstructions. A factor was the road signs.

## Other reports on N61612 (1)
