## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT REPORTED NORMAL APPROACH INTO PRC, DURING TOUCH DOWN HE FELT THE AIRCRAFT PULLING LEFT HE SAID HE ADDED RUDDER TO COMPENSATE FOR THE PULLING. HE THEN STATED THAT WITHIN A MATTER OF A FEW SECONDS THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT THEN SKIDDED DOWN THE RUNWAY AND CAME TO A STOP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE PILOT REPORTED IT FELT AS IF THE LEFT HAND BRAKE WAS GRABBING. DURING MY INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT RECORDS IT WAS NOTED THE BRAKES HAD BEEN CHANGED ABOUT 80 HOURS AGO. WE WERE UNABLE TO TEST THE SYSTEM DUE TO THE DAMAGE TO THE BRAKE SYSTEM.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
