## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS DOING TOUCH AND GO'S AT LAKE HOOD STRIP WHEN AFTER LANDING, HE ATTEMPTED TO TAKE OFF AGAIN. AT 70 MPH HE NOTICED A VIBRATION IN THE NOSE WHEEL. PILOT FELT THAT HE COULD NOT TAKE OFF SO HE ELECTED TO REDUCE POWER AND THE AIRCRAFT RAN OUT OF RUNWAY BEFORE HE COULD STOP. THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE END OF RUNWAY 31 STOPPING IN A SWAMP AREA RESULTING IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT, AND NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT. THE NOSE GEAR WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND TO BE IN SERVICEABLE CONDITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
