## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING A FLIGHT PLANNED FROM LMT TO RNO, THE PILOT DEVIATED AND LANDED O00 FOR BREAKFAST. NOTAMS WERE NOT CHECK FOR O00. DURING LANDING, THE PILOT STATED THE EARLY MORNING LIGHT CONDITIONS OBSCURED THE AIRPORT ENVIRONMENT. UPON TOUCH DOWN, THE PILOT NOTICED A PLYWOOD "X" ON THE RUNWAY. SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN, THE PILOT NOTICED AN EMBANKMENT APPROXIMATELY 600 FEET FROM THE INTITAL TOUCHDOWN POINT. A GO AROUND WAS INITIATED, HOWEVER, THE EMBANKMENT WAS STRUCK INITIALLY WITH THE PROPELLER FOLLOWED BY THE NOSE AND MAIN LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST APPROX. 50 FT. SUBSEQUENT TO IMPACT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
