## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 09/27/99 WHILE ENROUTE AT FL410 FROM CLE TO LRU THE AIRCRAFT HAS A DOUBLE GENERATOR FAILURE. FLIGHT CONDITIONS WERE IMC WITH LIGHT PRECIPITATION. ABNORMAL CHECK LISTS FOR DOUBLE GENERATOR FAILURE WERE COMPLETED AND BOTH GENERATORS RESET ON LINE WITH NO OTHER ABNORMALITIES. A NORMAL LANDING WAS MADE AT WICHITA, KS (1CT). FURTHER INSPECTION DID NOT REVEAL ANY MALFUNCTIONS OF THE GENERATORS OR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. LIGHTNING STRIKE INSPECTION WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH SATISFACTORY RESULTS. GROUND RUN-UP COULD NOT DUPLICATE GENERATOR FAILURE. THIS REPORT CLOSES THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
