## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT APPROX. 13:17 LOCAL TIME ON 9-29-99, C2XA FLIGHT 3038, FROM CLE TO PIT, WAS MAKING A VISUAL APPROACH ON RUNWAY 28 RIGHT AT PIT. ON ABOUT A 3.5 TO 4.0 MILE FINAL FLIGHT 3038 ADVISED THE TOWER THAT THEY WERE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE LANDING GEAR, AND THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO GO AROUND. TOWER VECTORED FLIGHT 3038 ARAOUND FOR ANOTHER APPROACH TO RUNWAY 28 RIGHT, AND THE CREW REQUESTED THAT EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT BE STANDING BY AS A PRECAUTION. FLIGHT 3038 ADVISED THE TOWER THAT THE LANDING GEAR INDICATOR CIRCUIT BREAKER HAD POPPED AND WAS RESET. THIS CORRECTED THE PROBLEM--ALL INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL. FLIGHT 3038 LANDED WITHOUT ANY FURTHER PROBLEMS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
