## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT ARRIVED AT PORT COLUMBUS AIRPORT (CMH) FROM PITTSBURGH (PIT). WHEN THE MAIN WHEELS TOUCHED DOWN UPON LANDING THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED AN UNCOMMANDED PITCH ROTATION TO A HIGH NOSE UP ATTITUDE. DURING THIS PITCH UP ROTATION THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT DRAGGED THE GROUND. THE PITCH UP ROTATION OCCURRED FOR A PERIOD OF 3 TO 4 SECONDS AFTER WHICH THE NOSE ROTATED BACK TO THE GROUND. BOTH PILOTS HELD THE CONTROL COLUMN FULL FORWARD DURING TAXI TO THE GATE. THE FLIGHT CREW HAD NO INDICATION THAT THE TAIL CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND. A RAMP AGENT AT CMH WITNESSED THE INCIDENT AND TOLD THE CREW UPON DEPLANNING PASSENGERS. RAMP AGENT MADE THE COMMENT THAT THE REAR BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT APPEARED TO BE OVERLOADED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
