## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)ON OCTOBER 1,1999, A CONVAIR 440, N4753B, S/N 340, OPERATED BY GULF & CARIBBEAN CARGO, INC. AND PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OM^, MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING AT BOCA RATON AIRPORT, BOCA RATON, FL. THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED SEVERE VIBRATIONS DURING FLIGHT. THE PILOT REPORTED FLIGHT CONTROLS PROBLEMS TO PALM BEACH APPROACH CONTROL. THE FLIGHT CREW'S HANDS WERE BADLY BLOODY DUE TO THE VIBRATIONS FROM THE ELEVATOR FLIGHT CONTROL. THE RIGHT ELEVATOR PUSH ROD WAS LOOSE AND HOLES WERE OBSERVED ON THE ELEVATOR. ONE SECTION WAS BROKE OFF.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
