## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) IGL1920000004 WHILE ON DESCENT INTO CAPITAL AIRPORT, SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS, ON HIS 1ST CROSS COUNTRY SOLO FLIGHT, THE STUDENT PILOT AND SOLE OCCUPANT OF N6933F, A CESSNA 150, EXPERIENCED ROUGHNESS IN ENGINE OPERATION AND ELECTED TO LAND AT A RESTRICTED LANDING AREA NEAR PETERSBURG, ILLINOIS. NO INJURY NOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS SUSTAINED DURING THIS EVENT. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
