(-23) WHILE ENROUTE ON A VFR FLIGHT FROM TACOMA NARROWS, WA TO FRIDAY HARBOR, WA THE ENGINE LOST POWER, NEAR PORT LUDLOW, WA DUE TO IGNITION HARNESS PROBLEMS. THE PILOT MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING SOUTHBOUND ON CEDERGROVE DRIVE, PORT LUDLOW, JEFFERSON CO, WA THE CROSS STREET WAS WOOLRIDGE DRIVE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE RELATIVELY LOW TIME PILOT DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN THIS EMERGENCY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
