## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE TAXIING ON THE CORPORATE RAMP AT KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (MCI), THE LEFT WING TIP OF N4085K STRUCK THE RIGHT SIDE NOSE SECTION OF A PARKED, UNOCCUPIED AIRCRAFT (N700FH). THE PILOT OF N4085K STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFTS RIGHT SIDE BRAKE WAS INOPERATIVE, CAUSING THE COLLISION AND THE RESULTING MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH AIRCRAFT. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REPLACED THE AIRCRAFTS PILOTS SIDE, RIGHT MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER. TEAR DOWN INSPECTION OF THE CYLINGER REVEALED RUBBER DEBRIS AND MOISTURE WITHIN THE UNIT. INCIDENT NUMBER CE2000GA0003 IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
