## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT DEPARTED BLOOMINGTON, IN (BMG) ENROUTE VFR TO PEASE, NH (PSE) AT 11,500 FEET. THE PILOT NOTICED THAT THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING HOT AND BEYOND LIMITIATIONS. HE REDUCED POWER BEGAN TO RUN ROUGH. IN THE PROCESS OF A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING AT URBANA, OHIO, THE AIRCRAFT LANDED LONG AND OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY COMING TO REST IN A DITCH. THE RESULTING DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT CONSIDERED SUBSTANTIAL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
