ON NOVEMBER 27, 199 AT 1720 LOCAL TIME AT THE GRAND FORKS, ND AIRPORT, A CESSNA 182 OWNED BY GENE WEINREIS AND PILOTED BY JULIE WEINRIES, STRUCK A DEER WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 17R DURING VFR CONDITIONS. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED DAMAGE TO THE LEFT HORIZAONTAL STABILIZER INBOARD LEADING EDGE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE AIRCRAFT OCCUPANTS. THE PILOT IS A CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED IN GOLVA, ND THE SAME DAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
