## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 1999 AT 1915 LOCAL, A MESABA AIRLINES (D/B/A NORTHWEST AIRLINK) SAAB 340-B, N446XJ SLID OFF THE TAXIWAY AND BECAME STUCK IN THE MUD WHILE TAXIING TO THE RAMP AFTER LANDING AT BINGHAMTON REGIONAL AIRPORT (BGM). THE AIRCRAFT WAS LATER TOWED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT INCIDENT. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE (CORPORATE WINGS) INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND NO VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE NOSE AND MAIN LANDING GEAR AS WELL AS THE FUSELAGE OR PROPS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN RETURNED TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
