As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-5) AIRCRAFT WAS FLOWN ON 12/05/99 AND LEFT UNSECURED ON THE RAMP AT GREENWOOD AIRPORT (HFY), GREENWOOD, INDIANA, WITH THE KEYS LEFT IN THE INGITION SWITCH. AT APPROXIMATELY 1400 HRS LOCAL, LINE PERSONNEL FOR GREENWOOD AVIATION WHO WERE LOCATED IN THE HANGAR HEARD A LOUD NOISE AND WENT OUTSIDE TO FIND THE AIRCRAFT INTERTWINED IN A CHAIN LINK FENCE. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED SERVRE DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL CONTACTED THIS OFFICE ON 12/06/99 TO REPORT A POSSIBLE ACT OF VANDALISM.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
