## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 21, 1999, AT APPROXIMATELY 12:05 PM PST, N8889U WAS TIPPED OVER ON TO THE RIGHT WING TIP AND PROPELLER AS A RESULT OF A GUST OF WIND (EST 40 KNOTS) AS PILOT TAXIED ON TO RUNWAY 30 FOR TAKEOFF AT NORTH LAS VEGAS AIR TERMINAL, NEVADA (VGT). THE PRIVATE PILOT, RICKY LAVON HOUSTON (528980288) ATTEMPTED TO MITIGATE THE EFFECT OF THE WIND, BUT WAS UNABLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
