## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED THAT AFTER THE AIRCRAFT LANDED, THE WIND PUSHED HIM OFF THE RUNWAY. HE TRIED TO TAKE OFF, BUT THE RIGHT WING HIT THE GROUND CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO TURN TO THE RIGHT AND LAND HARD.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB IAD00LA016](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/IAD00LA016), Jan 9, 2000: Bellanca 7ECA (N2735Z), Waynesburg, PA, substantial damage. Probable cause: the pilot's failure to maintain aircraft control during the landing roll-out.

## Other reports on N2735Z (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19860607029029I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19860607029029I), Jun 7, 1986: Bbavia 7ECA (N2735Z), Spearfish, SD, Minor damage. After rollout the left main wheel casting broke causing a cartwheel. Aircraft came to rest beside the runway.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
