## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE RETURNING ON A FLIGHT TO FLEMING FIELD, ST PAUL, MN (SGS), THE AIRCRAFT LOST POWER AND LANDED IN AN OPEN FIELD. NO DAMAGE OR INJURIES. REASON FOR LOSE OF POWER IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION. AN AMENDMENT TO TH IS REPORT WILL BE SUBMITTED WHEN REASON FOR THE LOSE OF POWER IS IDENTIFIED. AIRCRAFT WAS ON FIRST FLIGHT AFTER AN ANNUAL INSPECTION. PRELIMINARY INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED NUMEROUS ITEMS THAT WERE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH AN ANNUAL INSPECTION. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
