## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL, 19, 2000, AT 1600 EDT, A BEECH G-35, N4229D, REGISTERED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ , ALNDED WITH THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND NO PROPERTY DAMAGE. SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION SHOWED ALL DOORS TO BE STREAMLINED WITH FUSELAGE (SHUT) AT THE TIME OF RUNWAY CONTACT. MAINTENANCE RECOVERED THE AIRCRAFT, PLACED ON JACKS AND CYCLED THE GEAR FIVE (5) TIMES. ALL OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE OKAY. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
