## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE CONDUCTING AGRICULTURAL AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS THE PILOT FAILED TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT. HE STATED THAT IN TURN (REPOSITIONING FOR ANOTHER SWATH RUN). "THE AIRCRAFT SHOOK VIOLENTLY AND BEGAN TO STALL. IT MUSHED IN." HE CONSIDERED 'DENSITY ALTITUDE' AS AN ATTRIBUTING FACTOR. HE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO RECOVER THE STALL BEFORE STRIKING THE GROUND AND CAREENING OUT OF CONTROL INTO NEARBY TREES. THE PILOT REPORTED NO MECHANICAL ANOMALIES WITH THE AIRCRAFT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB FTW00LA157](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/FTW00LA157), May 30, 2000: Pzl-Mielec M-18A (N2065S), Marmaduke, AR, destroyed. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain control of the airplane, which resulted in an inadvertent stall/mush.

## Other reports on N2065S (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 19950816024149A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19950816024149A), Aug 16, 1995: Mnmite M18LA (N2065S), Parkdale, AR, Substantial damage. Lost power on liftoff. Dumped load. Landed rice paddy. Wing hit well motor. Reason power loss undetermined.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
