## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)ON MAY 31, 2000, AT 2145 LOCAL TIME, ^PRIVACY DATA OMI^,THE PILOT IN COMMAND AND SOLE OCCUPANT OF N9236V, A PIPER PA32R-301, EXPERIENCED LANDING GEAR EXTENSION PROBLEMS WHILE APPROACHING THE NORTH MYRTLE BEACH,SC (CRE) AIRPORT. ON LANDING THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. EVALUATION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED A HYDRAULIC LEAK AT RIGID LINE B-NUT BENEATH THE HYDRAULIC POWER PACK WHICH DEPLETED THE HYDRAULIC RESERVIOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
