## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) CESSNA N7426N, A T210N, EXPERIENCED AN ELECTRICAL POWER LOSS AFTER TAKEOFF FROM EAGLE CREEK AIRPARK, (EYE). THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO EYE FOR LANDING. AFTER TOUCHDOWN THE MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED; HOWEVER, THE NOSE LANDING GEAR REMAINED IN THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. THE PILOT/OWNER, SOLE OCCUPANT OF THE AIRCRAFT, WAS UNINJURED, BUT THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE LEFT HORIZONTAL STABILIZER/ELEVATOR ASSEMBLY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI00LA161](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI00LA161), Jun 12, 2000: Cessna T210N (N7426N), Indianapolis, IN, substantial damage. Probable cause: the unlocked main landing gear and the manual gear extension not performed by the pilot. The electrical system failure was a contributing factor.

## Other reports on N7426N (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 19790315009279A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19790315009279A), Mar 15, 1979: Cessna T210N (N7426N), John Day, OR, Substantial damage. Engine failed, pilot unable to restart. Found main fuel line routed within 3/8 inch of exhaust crossover tube.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
