## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)ON SUNDAY, JUNE 25, 2000, AT APPROXIMATELY 4 PM LOCAL TIME, THE SINGLE PILOT OF N555XX WAS ON AN APPROACH TO LAND AT CHERRY RIDGE AIRPORT (N30). WHILE IN THE TAFFIC PATTERN ON DOWNWIND, BASE AND FINAL APPROACH TO LAND ON RUNWAY 35 THE PILOT STATED HE FORGOT TO LOWER (EXTEND) THE LANDING GEAR. AFTER LANDING WITH THE GEAR IN THE RETRACTED POSITION 9UP) THE PILOT ADDED FULL POWER AND WAS ALBE TO SUCCESSFULLY MAKE A TAKEOFF/GO AROUND. THEN, WHILE REMAINING IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN, THE PILOT LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR AND MADE AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING, CAUSING ONLY MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
