## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)THE AIRCRAFT WAS ENROUTE FROM ALABAMA TO ALTUS, OK., WHEN THE ENGINE EXHAUST STACK BROKE ABOVE THE MUFFLER ALLOWING FUMES INTO THE CABIN. THE PILOT LANDED AT MCALESTER, OK., AND UPON LANDING, THE GEAR DID NOT EXTEND, ALLOWING THE AIRCRAFT TO SETTLE ON THE BELLY CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE BOTTOM SKIN ON THE AIRCRAFT AND THE PROPELLER. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE GEAR CURCUIT BREAKER HAD POPPED OUT. PILOT STATED THAT HE COULD SMELL THE EXHAUST AND IT BACAME HARD TO THINK AND HIS JUDGEMENT WAS BECOMING IMPAIRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
