## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)A LOCKHEED-12A, N33RA, PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMIT^ MADE A NORMAL APPROACH TO LAND AT SUNRIVER, OREGON AIRPORT, S21, WITH A SLIGHT CROSSWIND FROM THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RIGHT WHEEL FIRST. THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO ROLL OUT NORMALLY WHEN THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT STARTED SINKING TO THE GROUND. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED THAT A CASTING IN THE RIGHT REAR WHEEL WELL BROKE,THE JACK SCREW BENT, AND THE WHEEL COLLAPSED. DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO THE GEAR CASTING, JACK SCREW AND THE PROPELLER TIPS. THERE WAS NO SKIN DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
