## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)FIRST FLIGHT OUT OF B CHECK. VIBRATION EXPERIENCE AT 250 KTS. THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE IN THE OFF POSITION, WITH THE HANDLE UP ALL LIGHTS WERE OUT, STILL HAD THE VIBRATION. AFTER EXTENSION FOR LANDING THE LEFT GEAR RED LIGHTS STAYED ON. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. SUSPECTED THAT THE LEFT UPLOCK HOOK WAS NOT RETURNED TO THE UNLOCK POSITION AFTER MAINTENANCE. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT HE CHECKED THE HOOK A VERIFIED THAT IT WAS IN THE PROPER POSITION AFTER THE CHECK WAS PERFORMED.

## Other reports on N495FE (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19920611023319I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19920611023319I), Jun 11, 1992: Boeing 727227 (N495FE), Albany, NY. NR1 smoke detector in main cargo area. Very slight smoke aroma. Landed safely. Replaced faulty smoke detector.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
