## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)PIC REPORTED THAT DURING LANDING PHASE HE HAD A LEFT CROSSWIND AND CORRECTED FOR THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY, AT THE THRESHOLD OF THE RUNWAY THE CROSSWIND STOPPED AND HE WAS TO FAR LEFT TO CORRECT AND INITIATED A GO AROUND. HE APPLIED FULL THROTTLE AND TRIED TO TAKE-OFF, THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT CLIMBING AND HE DECIDED TO LAND RATHER THAT CONTINUE CLIMB OUT. THE RIGHT GEAR HIT HARD CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER RIGHT AND OFF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SLID INTO A DIRT BANK AND CAME TO REST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
