THE A/C CAME TO REST IN A FENCE LINE AND A TREE, CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO MOST OF THE A/C.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB NYC01LA029](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/NYC01LA029), Nov 2, 2000: Cessna 177B (N35241), Prosperity, PA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The failure of the dual magneto ignition system points to open.
