## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)AFTER LANDING ON RUNWAY 1R AT FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ^PRIVACY DA^ ENCOUNTERED A RIGHT GUSTY CROSSWIND WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO TURN TO THE RIGHT. ^PRIVACY DA^ UNDER-CORRECTED WITH RUDDER AND THE AIRCRAFT TURNED TOWARDS THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. HE TRIES TO USE THE BRAKES WITHOUT SUCCESS. THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AT ABOUT 1,500 FEET FROM THE APPROACH END OF RUNWAY 1R. THE AIRCRAFT TRAVELED 25 FEET OFF OF THE RUNWAY THROUGH THE SNOW, AND NOSED OVER. ^PRIVACY DA^ EXITED THE AIRCRAFT UNHARMED AND PULLED THE TAIL DOWN. THE ONLY DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS A BENT PROPELLER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
