## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)ON DECEMBER 9, 2000, AT 2225E, B727, S/N 22934 REGISTERED AS N212FE, AND OPERATING AS FDEA FLIGHT #2276 LANDED AT "PIT" AFTER REPORTING A CRACKED WINDSHIELD. THE A/C LANDED AND RETURNED TO THE GATE WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE CREW REPORTED THAT DURING DESCENT, THE CO-PILOT'S SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD ARCED AND CRACKED. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD AND RETURNED THE A/C TO SERVICE. INVESTIGATION PER DESK AUDIT AND CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
